This Advent the Vocations Office and the seminarians of the Diocese of Sioux City are inviting college age men who are open to the possibility of a call to the priesthood to a short weekend discernment check-in called "Fireside," December 21 and 22 in Storm Lake at Kings Pointe Resort and Hotel. Fireside will be a simple gesture of fellowship, prayer, and conversation with the seminarians of the Diocese of Sioux City. We will gather Saturday evening in Storm Lake, share a meal, hear various experiences and witnesses from our seminarians and spend the evening in fraternity, fun, and prayer as we await the coming of our Lord at Christmas! Sunday morning, we will have the opportunity to pray the liturgy of the hours, share more discussion about discernment and celebrate Holy Mass together for the Fourth Sunday of Advent.
